SKILLS/ABILITIES: Riddlekit is essentially still a kit, but don’t let his age fool you. Riddlekit has been on his own all his life and has developed a very unique hunting and fighting style. He spends most of his time in trees or hiding in high grass, and therefore is rarely seen by Clan cats. His survival skills are highly impressive, and despite his age, has managed to survive in the wild completely alone.

PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: Timid and secretive, Riddlekit knows very little about other cats. He’s lived in isolation since his mother’s death, and typically flees or hides from Clan cats. However, he is highly intelligent, resourceful, and imaginative. He is often seen talking to himself to keep himself company. He has a creative personality, and loves to secretly observe the Clan cats. He is still very young, and can be quite sensitive and emotional if confronted. He has grown up in an environment where he is conditioned to fear most new things. However, Riddlekit has a unique sense of neutrality and is morally gray. Because of this, he can understand the mentality of most cats regardless of moral alignment.

HISTORY: Some Clan cats have reported sightings of a small white cat, with bicolored eyes, but these sightings have been fleeting, as Riddlekit often flees if spotted. He is the only surviving kit of a now deceased rogue. Riddlekit was three moons old when his mother was struck on the ThunderPath, leaving him to fend for himself. Surprisingly, the kit managed to survive primarily by seeking shelter in trees, above the dangerous forest floor. He often travels between clan territories undetected. Though he has learned to survive, it isn’t easy, and sometimes he resorts to eating insects when he cannot Hunt undetected. He joined ShadowClan not long after being seriously injured in a fox attack.

NAME ORIGIN: Tallfern is so named for her unusually tall stature.

SKILLS: Tallfern is an excellent negotiator and tactician. Her strength is in her silver tongue, as she prefers to smooth conflicts over before baring her claws, though her fighting style involves using her enemies’ weaknesses against them and she generally only goes on the defensive, and is known to throw a few dirty tricks and sly twists into her combat. Tallfern is highly sociable and works well as a mediator and counselor in terse situations.
FUTURE: Tallfern would be an excellent mentor for a keen apprentice. Her teaching style can be a bit whimsical and eccentric, but she imparts the skill of logic and wit as well as charisma. It would be interesting to see Tallfern in a relationship with a special she-cat as well. Because of her character’s adaptability, she is suitable for various plot ventures.

PELT/MARKINGS: Bold calico--her pelt is about half white, half tortoiseshell.
FUR LENGTH: VERY longhair, with subtle ear tufts (similar to a Maine Coon in appearance).
BODY SIZE: (very) Large (and tall).
EYE COLOR: Pale green.
OVERALL APPEARANCE: Tallfern’s tall stature is her defining trait, and as previously mentioned, resembles a Maine Coon due to her size and feathery pelt. Tallfern humors lighthearted jests made about her unusual size.
PERSONALITY
OVERVIEW: Tallfern is an eccentric cat. Witty, sociable, and a bit distractible, the oversized she-cat is known for her clever rhetoric and amusing perspective. Tallfern is often somewhat ambivalent in the face of calamity, and thus, quite calm and collected when faced with conflict. She often self-deprecates to seem benign--she is the type of warrior who could’ve risen in the ranks but seems ultimately disinterested in pursuing leadership roles; dismissing herself as “just a simple warrior” or “ignorant of the Clan’s inner workings”. Some view this as a cop out, or method of avoiding responsibility, but Tallfern prefers to observe before acting; to hold her cards close and play them well. Despite being a bit capricious, the she-cat is quite sociable, and offers surprisingly relevant advice despite her laissez-faire demeanor. She is a playful young warrior with an acute sense of humor and a tendency towards flirtatious behavior, however she can be quite diplomatic when necessary.

FEARS: Despite her seemingly ambivalent exterior, Tallfern worries extensively that her Clanmates may not trust her due to her parentage. She fears she may never find a mate willing to tolerate her eccentricities. The return of her parents. She has an unusual phobia of heights, and thus does not climb whatsoever.
GOALS: To secure the trust of her Clanmates, and offer her wit as a tool to help the Clan progress. To find a cat to confide in.
HISTORY
Tallfern was the only living kit born to a pair of rogues living outside of ShadowClan territory. Unable to care for their kit, she was abandoned at roughly five moons old, and raised as a ShadowClan cat.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Very fast, aggressive fighting style. Leopardstrike is so named for her relentless fighting style, almost like a professional boxer in terms of speed and power.

PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: Leopardstrike is austere and intimidating, and can be quite demanding, however, her intentions are always to strengthen and equip those around her. She's an older warrior, and has seen many battles, and learned most of what she knows the hard way. She can be quite aggressive towards outsiders and invaders and is a devout upholder of code. Though she may seem severe, she has a strict moral compass and cares deeply for the well-being of the Clan. When she is pleased, her simple words of approval can truly uplift a cat, because they are administered sparingly. Despite her severity, Leopardstrike is somewhat maternal and very protective of those she cares about. She would be one of the first cats to lay down her life for a Clanmate. She has honed her skills over the seasons and often imparts hidden wisdom in her intense teaching style. Leopardstrike has all the makings of a Jedi master.

HISTORY: Leopardstrike was born and raised in ShadowClan. She has defended her clan countless times, and does so in the memory of her late mother, Oakdapple, who was killed in battle. Leopardstrike has trained multiple apprentices, and only apprentices with great potential and tenacity are placed under Leopardstrike's tutelage.
